Set in the beautiful mountains of the BC interior the new owners of Mara Hills Golf Resort (previously Hyde Mountain Golf Course) plan to develop the golf course property to include serving an increase of travellers, local outdoor enthusiasts and anticipated traffic on the Okanagan Rail Trail extension of the decommissioned CN/CP rail corridor.

An over-all master plan was critical to vision this diverse and beautiful - one in a million sites - to include a town centre with hotel, Golf Club House with amenities, mixed use commercial and residential buildings with waterfront luxury hotel spa and marina.

Serene mountainous lakeside living and play - this is one of BC’s more valuable projects.

Looking forward the owner sees potential in incorporating on-site features for visitors. A gondola will bring people to the ridge line to venture onto the trail network, relax with the panoramic views.

At the lakeside marina the planned Okanagan Rail Trail will run along the lake front from Sicamous (5k to the north) and Kelowna (125k to the south). The spa and health aspects of the Hyde Mountain Resort with short and long term boat mooridge be will round out this resort experience.

The concept models explore a contemporary building form as a foil to the trees and organic shapes of the site local.

Large and small lot cabins nestle into the wooded private site on steeper terrain while the village centre sits in the small valley saddle. Lots are currently being developed and build as single family and RV sites.
